Emily Catherine LaVere and Vincent Alexander Stroup are to be married May 24, 2008, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.

Emily, a Tracy High School teacher, graduated from West High School in 2000 and from California State University, Stanislaus, in 2005. Her parents are John and Virginia LaVere of Modesto. Her grandparents are Carol Charles of San Lorenzo and Robert Charles of Auburn. Her siblings are Alexa LaVere of Modesto and John LaVere of Burney.

Vincent, a paramedic for American Medical Response, is a Class of 2000 Tracy High graduate and graduated in 2004 from the Emergency Medical Sciences Training Institute. His parents are Craig and Kim Stroup of Tracy. His grandparents are Opal and Lloyd Stroup and Don and Shirley Yerian, all of Tracy. His siblings are Garrett, Stephen and Jill Stroup, all of Tracy.
